Description

A flowing fish in rust red, cobalt blue and soft white fills this pale blue ceramic plate. Fine, sweeping brushstrokes trace its expansive fins and curling tail, creating a sense of movement across the glossy surface. The open blue ground gives the richly detailed illustration room to breathe.

Handmade in Jingdezhen and curated by DAIDAI Ceramics, this one-of-one plate brings expressive color to everyday dining. Use it for a favorite meal or a small spread to share, or display it upright so the fish’s flowing silhouette can be enjoyed between meals.

Design

The fish’s broad, ribbon-like fins spread across the circular surface, echoing the curve of the plate. Rust-red and cobalt strokes alternate with pale lines, giving the illustration depth and rhythm. Against the light blue glaze, the darker accents draw attention to the fins and face, while areas of open color keep the composition airy.
